Where can I find a Privacy Policy template?

Over at TermsFeed, we made available a Free Privacy Policy Template available for download that you can use for your business.

This "Free Privacy Policy Template" contains the following clauses:

Please note that our Privacy Policy Template is not customized for your business needs. We recommend that you go through the Privacy Policy Generator to create a custom Privacy Policy, a policy customized based on business needs.

For example, by using our generator you can customize the "Log Data" clause from the template to match your business, your website and/or your mobile app.

While the "Log Data" clause is simple enough, the clause also needs to be updated based on how you collect personal data from users. If you use the Privacy Policy only for a website and your business does not have a mobile app, then the "Log Data" clause from the template might be enough for you:

[...] your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.

However, if your Privacy Policy would also be used for a mobile app, then you should update the "Log Data" clause to inform users that other type of "log data" can be collected from the user's mobile device:

[...] type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use and other statistics.
