There are 11 categories of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA. They are as follows: Personal identifiers (name, address), protected classifications (religion, nationality), customer records (bank account number, signature record), commercial information (records of owned property), biometric data (iris scans, fingerprints), geolocation data (IP address, GPS data), job-related or professional information (employment records or history), internet activity data (search or browsing history), educational information (test results, history of attendance) and inferences drawn from personal data that could be used to create a profile on the individual.
