A testimonial disclaimer is a short statement displayed on a website that publishes testimonials or reviews that lets the public know that their own experiences with the product or service may not end up being the same as that of the testimonials or reviews.
For example, a weight loss program may share a number of testimonials of people who had exceptional transformations in losing weight while on the program. A testimonial disclaimer will state that not everyone who uses the program will experience exceptional transformations.
